This re-model began back in January of 2020 and was originally planned to take 4-5 months. Various surprises in the radiant floor heat system, crumbling mud bed beneath old tiles, hidden complexities, structural conundrums and a global pandemic grew the timeline to almost a year.

The house was originally built in the mid ‘90’s by the original owner with the help of a local contractor, this extensive re-model was implemented by the children of the original owner. We were happy to be a part of this multi-generational project. The current owners enlisted the aid of Interior designer Ashley Campbell from Denver and Anna Gustason from Aspen Leaf Cabinetry who laid out and designed a beautiful new kitchen, three bathrooms and transformed an original greenhouse, sunspace into a luxurious Spa Bathroom. New Rift Sawn White Oak interior doors, new tile floor throughout and new wall layout completed this involved process. Loveless Stone laid the new 24 x 24 limestone tile throughout the second floor and Zsolt Szilagy of Homeworks Tile Inc. did a masterful job in the bathrooms.

We were tasked to figure out the details and bring the designers and owners vision into this world. Scheduling and corralling the sub-contractors was nearly a full-time job. A lot of head scratching, figuring and hard work later I think we succeeded. Everyone seems to be happy with the results.
